Why is it important to collect equalities data in Scotland?
This learning hub aims to help you understand why we ask for equalities data and how it is used, helping you to improve your experience of asking with confidence. Better conversations can be held around personal identity, culture, and individual needs in a safe, respectful, and dignified way, helping you, the patient, and the organisation to deliver better health outcomes.
*Please note: the word ‘patient’ is used as a generic term throughout this learning resource and refers to patients and service users.
